TRMS

The TRMS architecture consists of several key components: the Report Repository, the Print Server, the Web Interface (TRMS NET/WEB), and the Administration Console. The Report Repository is the central storage for report definitions and archived reports. It uses VSAM datasets for data storage.

The Print Server handles report printing and output, supporting various printer types. The Web Interface (TRMS NET/WEB) provides web-based access to reports, using HTTP and HTTPS protocols. The Administration Console is a web-based interface for managing users, configuring system settings, and monitoring system performance.

Communication between components occurs via TCP/IP. The system supports integration with external systems through batch jobs and online transactions. Security is implemented through user authentication, role-based access control, and encryption of sensitive data.

Audit logs track all system activities, providing detailed information for security and operational monitoring. The system is designed for high availability and scalability, with options for load balancing and failover.
