P2P Sync

P2P Sync's architecture is centered around several key components designed to ensure automated synchronization and auditing of VTS volumes on z/OS. The Synchronization Engine is responsible for the actual data transfer and synchronization between peer VTS volumes. The Audit Manager performs regular checks to verify data integrity, identifying and reporting any discrepancies.

The Configuration Manager handles all system settings, including VTS volume definitions, synchronization schedules, and audit intervals. The Command-Line Interface (CLI) serves as the primary administrative interface, allowing users to configure, monitor, and manage the system. Communication between components occurs over TCP/IP.

The system leverages z/OS security features, such as RACF, for authentication and access control. The CLI provides access to detailed logs and reports, which are essential for monitoring and troubleshooting. The system uses configuration files to store settings.
