BMC InTune

The InTune Monitor and Data Collector interacted through shared memory and control blocks. The Reporting Facility accessed data stored in VSAM datasets. Data storage utilized VSAM datasets, optimized for high-volume data storage and retrieval within the z/OS environment.

Network requirements were minimal, as the system operated primarily within the z/OS environment. The primary interface was a command-line interface (CLI). Configuration was managed through datasets, defining monitoring parameters and thresholds.

The product's design focused on providing detailed performance insights with minimal overhead.
