The architecture of Comand Center for MQSeries comprised several key components. The monitoring agents, deployed on z/OS, collected performance data from MQSeries queue managers. These agents communicated with the Candle Net Command Center via TCP/IP.
The Candle Net Command Center served as the central management console, providing a GUI for monitoring, configuration, and reporting. A relational database, such as DB2, stored historical performance data. The system used a proprietary protocol for communication between the agents and the central server.
The agents collected data on queue depths, channel status, and message rates. The GUI allowed users to define thresholds and trigger automated actions. This product is no longer supported.
