Tachyon Operating System

The architecture of Tachyon OS is centered around three primary components: the Assembler, the Linker, and the Debugger. It reads the source files, performs lexical analysis, syntax analysis, and code generation, producing object files.

The Linker takes object files and libraries as input, resolves external references, and combines them into a single executable file. It handles tasks such as symbol resolution, address allocation, and library linking. The Debugger provides a suite of tools for inspecting and controlling program execution.

It allows developers to set breakpoints, step through code, inspect registers and memory, and analyze program behavior. These components communicate through a defined internal protocol, ensuring seamless interaction. The system uses a file-based storage mechanism for storing object files, libraries, and executables.

The system supports API integration, with specific endpoints for tasks such as program loading and debugging control. The system's design emphasizes modularity and extensibility, allowing for future enhancements and integrations.
