Entact ID Request

The architecture of Entact ID Request is designed for scalability and cross-platform compatibility. The Request Portal is a web application built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, providing a user-friendly interface for submitting and managing requests.

The Workflow Engine is responsible for routing requests through predefined approval processes, based on user roles and request types. The Integration Module facilitates communication with target systems, such as z/OS, Windows, and UNIX, to fulfill approved requests. The Database stores all request data, user information, and configuration settings.

Communication between components occurs over HTTPS, ensuring secure data transfer. The system uses a relational database, such as Oracle or SQL Server, for data storage. The web server, application server, and database server can be deployed on separate physical or virtual machines for improved performance and scalability.

The system supports high availability through redundant server configurations. The product's REST APIs enable integration with other systems. The system supports various authentication methods, including LDAP and Active Directory.

The system uses encryption for sensitive data, including passwords and request details. Audit logs track all user actions and system events, providing a comprehensive audit trail.
