Product Overview
NET and Java services. The Service Invocation Manager received requests from CICS and batch programs, routing them to the appropriate external services. The Data Transformation Engine handled the mapping of data between the z/OS environment and the external service formats.
The Communication Layer, primarily using TCP/IP, managed the network communication. Configuration was managed through configuration files, defining service endpoints, data mappings, and security parameters. The administrative interface provided monitoring and logging capabilities.
The product's design allowed for flexible integration scenarios, but it is no longer supported. ClientSoft's ServiceBuilder offers similar capabilities.
