SmartAnalyzer for HSM

The architecture of SmartAnalyzer for HSM is designed for scalability and reliability. The main components include the Data Collector, Analysis Engine, Reporting Module, and the Configuration Manager. The Data Collector runs as a started task on z/OS, collecting data from HSM logs and control datasets.

The Analysis Engine processes the collected data, applying predefined rules and algorithms to identify anomalies and performance issues. The Reporting Module generates reports and dashboards, providing insights into system performance and health. The Configuration Manager handles system settings and user access.

Communication between components occurs via TCP/IP and internal z/OS communication mechanisms. The product uses a relational database, such as DB2, for storing configuration data, historical data, and reporting metadata. The system requires network connectivity to the z/OS system and the database server.

The product supports secure communication using HTTPS. Compared to other solutions, SmartAnalyzer for HSM offers a more integrated and automated approach to HSM monitoring and analysis.
