Product Overview
The architecture of IMS DLI DOS Space Management Utilities comprised several key components. The Data Set Management component handled the allocation and deallocation of database space. The Index Analysis component provided tools for analyzing and maintaining database indexes.
The Reorganization component assisted in restructuring and reloading database segments. These components communicated through the zVSE/VSEn operating system. The product utilized VSAM for data storage.
