I.C.U...MVS

MVS is designed for efficient security analysis and reporting within the z/OS environment. The main components include the Report Generator, Security Database Interface, Configuration Manager, and User Interface. The Report Generator processes security data and formats reports.

The Security Database Interface uses native z/OS interfaces to interact with RACF, CA ACF2, and CA Top Secret databases. The Configuration Manager handles system settings and configuration files. The User Interface provides access to reports and administrative functions.

Communication between components occurs through internal z/OS mechanisms. The tool does not use external databases for storing security data. The CLI and web-based GUI provide administrative access.

The CLI allows for scripting and automation of tasks. The web-based GUI provides a user-friendly interface for report viewing and configuration. The system utilizes the security features of the z/OS environment for authentication and access control.
