The architecture of IBM DevOps Test Performance consists of several key components. The Test Case Recorder captures user interactions, generating test scripts. The Test Case Editor allows for modification and scripting of test cases, including parameterization and data-driven testing.
The Test Execution Engine, running on z/OS, executes the test scripts, simulating user load. Communication between the components uses HTTP/HTTPS. Test results and configuration data are stored in a database.
The product integrates with the z/OS security infrastructure, supporting authentication and access control. The administrative interface is a combination of a GUI and CLI. The GUI is used for test case creation and editing, while the CLI is used for test execution and system administration tasks.
