Product Overview

The GenevaERS architecture is centered around several key components designed for efficient data processing and report generation on the mainframe. The Data Input Module handles the ingestion of data from sources such as Db2 and VSAM. The Data Transformation Engine then processes and transforms the data based on predefined rules.

The Report Generation Module uses the transformed data to create reports according to specified formats and layouts. Finally, the Output Management System manages the distribution and storage of generated reports. These components communicate through internal interfaces and data files.

Data is stored primarily in Db2 databases and VSAM files. Network requirements include connectivity to the mainframe and access to data sources. The system is administered through a Command Line Interface (CLI), and configuration is managed via configuration files that define data mappings, report formats, and security settings.

The system integrates with mainframe security features for authentication and authorization, and audit logging is available to track system activities.
