Product Overview

The architecture of BOS-complement comprised several key components. The Command Processor received and interpreted user commands entered through VTAM sessions. The Help Display Module formatted and presented the help text to the user.

The Configuration Manager handled the settings, including the location of help files and application-specific mappings. The system used file-based storage for help text. Communication occurred via VTAM.

There were no specific network ports required beyond standard VTAM communication. The product is no longer supported; therefore, no further architectural design is possible.
